Please welcome owners Noel and Joanna Flores to San Antonio

March 7, 2011

SAN ANTONIO TX -  Noel, President and CEO, grew up in Mirando Texas, which is south of Laredo, TX. It was here that he began his career with ConocoPhillips as a Field Supervisor. He worked for ConocoPhillips for the next five years, moving to Laredo in the process, and becoming their top Gas Controller. It was a few years after his move to Laredo that Noel and Joanna decided to open up a business in construction. Laredo, one of the largest ports of South Texas, with a fast growing economy, was an excellent start to their business venture.

Joanna, Chief Operating Officer, grew up here in San Antonio! Attending the local grade schools, she went on to pursue her Bachelor’s degree at St. Mary’s University where she flourished as a top student. After graduation, a business opportunity took her to Laredo, TX. Here, she headed a top Mega Lender, CTX Mortgage as their Operations Manager. While successful in this industry, she decided to take a leap of faith with her husband, Noel, to start Vision Construction Company, Inc. in 2001.

Since opening their doors in Laredo, Noel and Joanna have managed to expand and grow the company in the last six years. Moving their corporate office to San Antonio last year, and opening other field offices throughout South Texas, the Flores’ have strategically built and positioned their company for great opportunities in the government and private sectors. San Antonio has been good to Vision Construction, and now it is Noel and Joanna’s mission to contribute to this already thriving community.

With the extensive services Vision Construction Company, Inc. offers as a Commercial Contractor, and with Noel and Joanna’s deeply rooted foundation in “commitment to excellence” there’s no telling how high they will soar.

OUR FEATURED VISION CONSTRUCTION STORY

Vision Construction earns the prestigious SABOC 2011 MEDWeek Award
October 24, 2011

SAN ANTONIO TX -  Vision Construction was recently awarded the San Antonio Business Opportunity Council’s 2011 MEDWeek Award for its tireless, quality and prompt contracting work with the United States Army.

The prestigious award was given as a result of work done at Camp Bullis’ Army Medic Training Site where the firm was contracted to work on several projects including dealing with an inoperable misting system.

According to Charles Rhea, a spokesman from the nominating entity, “Vision Construction provided above and beyond support and was critical to mitigating heat stress conditions for the soldiers training at Camp Bullis.”

Rhea continued by detailing that, “Vision demonstrated its commitment to excellent service by identifying and overcoming a maintenance deficiency which resulted in an expeditious repair, all in the same day.  The soldiers there were very appreciative of how timely and professional the repair work was accomplished, as temperatures in San Antonio were over 100 degrees during the August time frame.”
